IFFK 2017 - count 30!

This time too IFFK happened to be the best period for me of the year!

Every day I watched movies. The following are my impressions. Rating is given in square brackets. The plot's location is one of the key attraction for me. So that is noted against each movie. 

നല്ല കുറെ ചിത്രങ്ങൾ ഇപ്രാവശ്യവും ചലച്ചിത്ര അക്കാദമി  കൊണ്ട് വന്നു. ഞാൻ കണ്ട എല്ലാ ചിത്രങ്ങളും ഇവിടെ എഴുതാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. (എന്ന് കരുതുന്നു!). പത്തിൽ മാർക്ക് ഇട്ടു. ഉറപ്പായും ഒരു കലാസൃഷ്ടി പ്രേക്ഷകനിൽ സംവേദിക്കുന്നത് പ്രേക്ഷകൻ കൂടി തയാറാവുമ്പോഴാണല്ലോ. അതിനാൽ ഈ മാർക്കുകൾ തീർച്ചയായും എന്റെ തോന്നൽ ആയിരിക്കാം.  ഞാൻ രാജ്യങ്ങൾ കൂടി എന്റെ മനസ്സിൽ പതിപ്പിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കാറുണ്ട്. കഥ നടക്കുന്നയിടം. അതാണ് സിനിമയ്ക്കു നേരെ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. യഥാർത്ഥ ലൊക്കേഷൻ, ആവണം എന്നില്ല.

In addition to these I had watched the following Malayalam movies even before IFFK

2. Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum (തൊണ്ടിമുതലും ദൃക്‌സാക്ഷിയും)

I heard that Black Jew(കറുത്ത ജൂതൻ ), Custody and Loveless are good movies. Grain seems to be good if watched with more knowledge on the subject. Interestingly subtitles for English vocals were the culprit for this black and white movie. That made me bit sleepy.

I really suggest IFFK to consider subtitles for all movies for English speaking situations too. It is important for serious movies to understand dialogs as the movie's English pronunciation is different to our pronunciation. Ultimately the crowd is here to seriously think and speak about Cinema.
